With nurturing in their early years, children can achieve Basic Musical Competence, that is, develop the ability to carry a tune in a variety of keys of music, and to hold a steady beat to a variey of rhythms. These skills will enable children to succeed in learning a musical instrument, if they choose to study one, later in childhood. Young children are biologically "wired" to respond most to those with whom they have close bonds; the sound of Mom or Dad's voice is the sweetest music to their ears! Music Together classes are one place where the whole family can play and share a very special time together. Older siblings, grandparents and caregivers are always welcome to attend our classes.
